The Merlin Players’ favorite Maryland playwrites Mala Burt and Laura Ambler are at it again with “Santa Diaries Part Two-A Christmas Wedding”. When we last saw the Hawes family, Sandy was about to fall in love with Martha and Will had broken his engagement with his Hollywood fiance Brandee and found love once again with childhood sweetheart Jessica. But a lot has happened in five years and we’ll catch up on the lives of the crazy, endearing Hawes family. Michael Lambert and Jerry Fox return to their roles as Sandy and Will along with many other original cast members. This play is written just for the Merlin Players. Come celebrate the holidays with us.

Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon and Other Floydian Tales with Jonny James & the Hall of Fames

This show sold out back-to-back performances at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and features Jonny James and the Hall of Fames. Hear “Dark Side of the Moon” in its entirety as a classic Judy Garland movie plays in the background, as well as favorite selections from “The Wall” and “Wish You Were Here.” It promises to be a spooky, psychedelic evening of killer guitars and crazy synths. The first set features classic songs and stories from the Gene Pitney catalogue like Hello Mary Lou, Love Is All Around, and I Fought the Law performed by Gary Rue, Gene Pitney’s music director, arranger and duet partner for 20 years. The second set features cast members from the Minnesota History Theatre’s IVEY Award-winning production of “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story”, performing all the Holly Hits, including That’ll Be the Day, Peggy Sue, Rave On, Maybe Baby, Not Fade Away, Heartbeat, Everyday, Words of Love, and Oh Boy **Endorsed by Jerry Allison and Sonny Curtis of The Crickets!
